Homeschool Planner Eye Candy & Inspiration
This one’s for all my homeschooling mamas, papas and caregivers!
Though, I find so many things geared toward homeschoolers can work really well for conventional schoolers who parent mindfully and want a little more organization or inspiration for their days with their amazing kiddos.
I actually made this video of a happy romp though this year’s homeschool planner over the summer, but I was waiting to get my snazzy new improved website and blog up and running before posting. It clearly took a little longer than expected as it’s now November — LOL!
Hey, at least it’s still autumn.
Frankly sometime between now and February is when tooooo many homeschool educators start to feel stressed like they’re falling short or have lost track of everything. So I figure better late than never with this post because you might find yourself needing a little inspiration at a seemingly random time during the year and now, here it is! It’s never the wrong time of year to add a new perspective, practice, or planning page to your monthly routine if it brings you ease and joy.
Plus, I have the added bonus of letting you know here and now, 3 months in, that this planning system is working wonderfully for us all this year.
It’s so simple, I almost feel guilty because I’m not spending time planning out great detail every week.
Key word there = almost!
I’m rather enjoying my new system of looking forward and back over the months in full and only making very simple notes for each week as needed. What a time saver! Honestly this has freed up mental bandwidth and energy that I’m now using to parent and homeschool more mindfully, and to get myself, my yoga students, and my members actively practicing yoga every day.
It’s so great!
So, sit back and click play below to get some tips and pointers from my planner to yours.
And remember, you don’t ever have to follow any one way to plan out your homeschool. Just like with yoga and all other aspects of life, flexibility and customization are key. Make it your own and don’t judge or compare yourself!
Feel free to email me with any questions or comments. I love connecting with and supporting other homeschoolers!
I truly hope this serves your mindful, joyful homeschool experience positively!
The AWESOME resources I mention in this video:
The Joyful Homeschool Resource List (link will post soon - for now, we’re communicating with cyber space to make the link work)
My favorite erasable pens! (they’re so much cheaper and work just as well as the more well known brand)
note — I am not making any kind of affiliate fee from any of these outside homeschool resources
I just truly like them, actively use them, and want you to know about them, too, because I’m sure some (if not all) of them will bring you a little ease, help, fun and support as you parent mindfully.
