When I was a little girl, my grandmother introduced me to the sweetness of sipping, savoring and smiling with a cup of tea. We would chat while enjoying our tea time together with a little treat and I fell in love with the whole process from boiling water and steeping to selecting a whimsical teacup.

There was just something magical about making a cup of tea!

To this day, I loooooooooooove tea and find it to be one of thee most magical things anyone can concoct in their kitchen.

That the brilliant tea leaves and magical herbs filling our bellies do no harm to the planet and lift spirits all over the world.

With Magareeshi Teas, I’m realizing this dream, one adorable cup at a time!

Little did little Maggie enjoying tea time with her Italian grandmother know that one day she would be creating her own delicious herbal blends for healing and enjoyment. Little did little Maggie know she’d spend a period of time in her life learning about the healing properties of hundreds of herbs and tisanes. Little did little Maggie (or big Maggie for that matter!) know she’d one day be sharing these blends professionally.

But, grownup Maggie discovered she liked sipping only the best of the best and that meant organic, untainted tea blends. Which often come with a ridonkulous price tag. So, I started blending up my own brews.

I began making my teas as gifts. I would make a blend, type up the recipe and expect the receiver to happily make their own refill. What really happened was that friends would show up at my doorstep with their empty jar asking if I could make them more and they could just buy it from me. I discovered that not everyone likes to spend time playing “kitchen witch” as much as me.

Once I discovered that if I sourced my organic ingredients well I could keep the cost as low as possible for you, there was no stopping me. I was so excited to be able to ensure that the end product (your cup of tasty tea) was utterly pure. Simple goodness for you and the planet!
